On 12 Mar 2026 GMT+7 at the Bhumjaithai Party headquarters, Police Lieutenant General Ruthaphon Naowarat, Minister of Justice, attended a party meeting and told reporters that he does not know whether he will remain Minister of Justice. He denied any knowledge of being approached for the position. When asked if clarity would come soon, Ruthaphon did not answer but nodded in acknowledgment.
Reporters also asked about Chonnapat Naksua, Songkhla MP from the Kla Party, who is a suspect in the online gambling case and had come to the Department of Special Investigation (DSI) today to acknowledge the charges. Ruthaphon said that Chonnapat is currently being questioned but declined to comment on his testimony, asking that they wait for the investigators’ preliminary report.
