Anutin posted a photo with Sihasak during a discussion with the Omani Foreign Minister, thanking him for assisting the Thai crew aboard the Mayuree Naree in the Strait of Hormuz and appealing for full support to find three crew members still missing.
At 20:38 on 12 Mar 2026 GMT+7, Mr. Anutin Charnvirakul, Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, posted a photo viahis personal Facebook account,while participating in a discussion regarding the incident involving the vessel Mayuree Naree which was attacked in the Strait of Hormuz. Present was Mr. Sihasak Puangketkaew, Minister of Foreign Affairs, engaging in talks with the Omani Foreign Minister at the Government House about the Thai crew, and he stated,
“I joined the conversation between the Thai and Omani Foreign Ministers to thank and inquire about the welfare of the Mayuree Naree crew, who have been assisted by the Omani government and are now safe and set to return to Thailand. For the three crew members still missing, the Thai government has requested Oman’s fullest efforts to search for and rescue them.”
