Full Throttle Team Raids Bang Khun Thian, Shuts Down 38 Illegal Warehouses with Numerous Uncertified Goods Seized

"Thanakorn" dispatched the “Full Throttle” team to eliminate 38 illegal warehouses in Bang Bon, uncovering numerous seized goods lacking TISI certification.

On 13 March 2026, Minister of Industry Thanakorn Wangboonkongchana ordered the “Full Throttle” task force to conduct a thorough sweep of 38 warehouses in Bang Khun Thian, a key logistics hub connecting the Khlong Toei and Laem Chabang ports. The area was identified as a risky storage point for imported goods. The inspection uncovered over 300 items without TISI certification, including toys and helmets, that were being distributed to consumers.

Further investigation into the seized helmets, totaling more than 9,600 pieces valued at 2.7 million baht, revealed that a major private company had a history of repeated seizures of non-standard products.

The Secretary-General of the Thai Industrial Standards Institute (TISI) disclosed that in the past five months, the value of seized illegal goods exceeded 51 million baht. He announced stricter enforcement under Section 142, warning that anyone who moves or destroys seizure documents will face severe penalties, including imprisonment and fines. He emphasized that today’s industry must ensure safety, leaving no room for violators.
