
Introducing Chaiyachonok Chidchob, Secretary-General of the Bhumjaithai Party and eldest son of Newin and Karuna, who was not moved from his position and continues as Minister of Digital Economy and Society in the same ministry.
On 15 March 2025 GMT+7, the list of ministers in the Anutin 2 Cabinet revealed that nearly all Bhumjaithai Party members retained their previous ministries, just as in the Anutin 1 Cabinet. Among them, Mr. Chaiyachonok Chidchob, Secretary-General of the Bhumjaithai Party, who first served as Minister of Digital Economy and Society, remained in the same post without change during the cabinet reshuffle into Anutin 2.
Mr. Chaiyachonok Chidchob, nicknamed "Nok," was born on 14 July 1990. He is the eldest son of Mr. Newin Chidchob and Mrs. Karuna Chidchob. Currently, he serves as Secretary-General of the Bhumjaithai Party and Member of Parliament for Buriram's 2nd district. He is also the former CEO of Buriram United Esports.
Mr. Chaiyachonok completed high school at Millfield Preparatory School, England, and studied Financial Economics at a university in London.
Additionally, Mr. Chaiyachonok has a keen interest in sports, especially football. He assisted his father in managing Buriram United Football Club and the Chang International Circuit racetrack. He also founded Buriram United Esports and contributed to leading the team to win the Arena of Valor Pro League twice (Winter 2019 and Summer 2020) and an international championship in 2021. Regarding his political path, Mr. Newin introduced "Chaiyachonok" as the prospective candidate for Member of Parliament for Buriram province from the Bhumjaithai Party during the opening ceremony of the Bhumjaithai Party office in Nang Rong district, Buriram province, on 26 June 2022.
Mr. Chaiyachonok then joined the Bhumjaithai Party as a candidate for MP in Buriram's 2nd district, becoming the third generation in the Chidchob family to serve as MP after his grandfather, Mr. Chai Chidchob, and his father, Mr. Newin, in the 2023 general election. He was elected for the first time.
Later in 2024, the Bhumjaithai Party's general assembly elected Mr. Chaiyachonok as Secretary-General, replacing his uncle, Mr. Saksayam Chidchob, who resigned from the post.
In the 2026 election, Mr. Chaiyachonok was second on the Bhumjaithai Party's party list and was re-elected. When cabinet positions for Anutin 2 were allocated, he was appointed Minister of Digital Economy and Society, retaining his previous ministry. He has been nicknamed the leader of the "Divine Sons Gang" within the blue party, later renamed the "Born Sons Gang."
