The Deputy Government Spokesperson revealed that the Department of Employment is recruiting Thai women to work as spa therapists in Macau, offering salaries exceeding 57,000 baht. Applications are free through the website toea.doe.go.th from 17 to 23 March 2026 GMT+7.

On 16 March 2026 GMT+7, Ms. Airin Panrit, Deputy Spokesperson of the Prime Minister's Office, stated that the government, through the Department of Employment, Ministry of Labour, is recruiting Thai women to work in the Macau Special Administrative Region for MGM Grand Paradise Limited, which operates casinos, restaurants, and hotels. The position available is Spa Therapist, with five vacancies, offering a monthly salary of 14,700 Macau dollars, approximately 57,624 baht depending on exchange rates.

The employment contract is for one year, with a 48-hour workweek on rotating shifts. The company will cover round-trip airfare to Macau from the start and end of the contract, provide accommodation subsidies of 500 Macau dollars monthly, meals during working hours, overtime pay, and benefits according to Macau labor laws. Applicant qualifications: female, aged 21-40, physically healthy, with 3 years of spa massage experience in 5-star hotels or casinos. Knowledge of facial care and body massage techniques is required; experience with ear and foot massage is preferred. Must hold a massage therapy certificate, have good personality, a passion for service, fluency in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese, no tattoos, and at least a high school diploma. Must be able to work shifts.
