"Ice Rakchanok" complained that supporters of "Dr. Warong" insulted the People’s Party as worthless and useless, even though the party had proposed cutting MPs' meal allowances since the Future Forward and Move Forward Party days.
On 16 Mar 2026 GMT+7, Ms. Rakchanok Srinok, a party-list MP of the People’s Party (PP), posted about the case of Dr. Warong Dechgitvigrom, a party-list MP from the Thai Pakdee Party, proposing to cut MPs' meal allowances during a parliamentary session. She said: "What’s very confusing now is that Dr. Warong proposed cutting MPs' meal allowances, yet many of his supporters harshly criticize the PP as worthless and useless, even though we have been proposing these cuts since the Future Forward, Move Forward, and People’s parties, and some cuts have been successfully implemented for several years. We didn’t just propose cutting meal allowances, but also budgets for field trips and other expenses. What did we do wrong? We propose cuts every year and sometimes succeed, yet we get criticized for no reason."
