Kla Tham Party Still Undecided on Nominating Thammanat for Prime Minister but Confident in Unified Vote

Attakorn is confident that Kla Tham will not split its vote in the prime minister selection on 19 March and that votes will go in the same direction. However, the party remains undecided on whether to nominate Thammanat to contest the prime minister position.

On 17 March 2026, Attakorn Sirilattayakorn, MP for Chachoengsao and registrar of the Kla Tham Party (KTh), spoke about the party's direction for the prime minister vote on 19 March, saying discussions have not yet taken place but a meeting is expected on the morning of 19 March.

When asked if the Kla Tham Party would nominate a candidate for prime minister, Attakorn said, "I am still undecided."

Asked if he was confident that the Kla Tham Party's votes would be unified, Attakorn replied that he was confident.

The Kla Tham Party will hold a meeting of its MPs to determine the voting strategy for the prime minister selection at 09:00 on 19 March at the Parliament Building.
