Anutin remained silent when asked about the 'Orange Cobra' vote but expressed thanks to Parliament for supporting his second term as Prime Minister, and said he is ready to listen to all proposals for governing the country.
On 15 March 2026, Anutin Chanvirakul, Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, and leader of the Bhumjaithai Party, spoke with a smile after the House of Representatives voted to elect him as Prime Minister for a second term. He thanked members of parliament from both the government and opposition sides for their full cooperation and said he is open to hearing all suggestions and political stances from all sides to continue governing the country.
However, the atmosphere grew slightly tense when reporters pressed him about one vote from a People’s Party MP who broke the party line to support Anutin, leading to accusations of being an opposition 'cobra.' Anutin did not respond to this question and immediately excused himself to enter a meeting room to chair the Operations Center for Monitoring the Middle East Conflict (OC-MEC) to follow the ongoing intense global conflict.
