"Sia Nu" nodded in agreement that the government formation and Anutin's second cabinet are progressing quickly. He confirmed there are no issues between Bhumjaithai MPs and the technocrat group, stressing that the technocrats are a quota assigned by the party leader who have sacrificed to help the nation. He added that anyone with problems should address the party leader.
On 19 Mar 2026 GMT+7, after a press conference on the 6/2569 meeting of the Center for Administration and Monitoring of the Middle East Conflict Situation (CB), held in conference room CB 406 on the 4th floor of the Parliament building, Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Anutin Charnvirakul was returning when he nodded twice but did not answer questions. Reporters asked whether the government formation would be swift following his appointment as Prime Minister and if the cabinet list was near completion. The Prime Minister nodded twice but gave no further comment.
When asked about internal problems within Bhumjaithai Party, specifically if the technocrat group (specialist experts) handling Middle East issues had been abandoned by party MPs, Anutin asked the reporters what that meant. The reporters explained it seemed that MPs had issues with the technocrat group, so no MPs defended them. Anutin again asked what "technocrat" meant and where the reporters got this news, questioning what it meant that technocrats were abandoned. He said they had been meeting with him all afternoon.
Reporters pressed whether MPs were failing to support an outside minister. Anutin responded, "The technocrats are the party leader’s quota, people invited by the leader to work for the people. Many have sacrificed huge incomes and given up civil service futures to serve the nation and citizens. Thus, the party leader, who is also the Prime Minister, is responsible for the technocrats. There is no concern. If MPs have doubts, it has been agreed within the party that they should bring them to the party leader. There is no need for worry about these individuals."
He further explained that these individuals are no longer just technocrats. They have fully applied their knowledge and skills and acted properly as party members and prime ministerial candidates. Today, everyone can work freely and fully. There is no need to worry about that.
