His Majesty King Rama X, King Vajiralongkorn Bodindradebayavarangkun, has graciously issued a royal decree stating that
the House of Representatives, in a vote on 19 March 2026, approved the appointment of Mr. Anutin Charnvirakul as Prime Minister with a majority vote exceeding half of all members present.
Under the authority granted by Section 158 of the Constitution of the Kingdom of Thailand, His Majesty has graciously appointed Mr. Anutin Charnvirakul as Prime Minister.
This appointment is effective immediately.
Announced on 19 March 2026, the 11th year of the current reign.
