Tawee Flies Urgently to Support Kamolsak, Believes a Well-Planned Conspiracy Behind Incident

"Tawee" flew urgently to encourage "Kamolsak," pointing out that the perpetrators' ability to smuggle war weapons through checkpoints indicates a coordinated conspiracy with insider complicity. Authorities are urged to intensify scientific methods to trace the shooter.

At 12:30 PM on 20 Mar 2026 GMT+7, Pol. Col. Tawee Sodsong, leader of the Prachachart Party, urgently traveled to Narathiwat province to visit and encourage Kamolsak Leeva Mo, Narathiwat 5th district MP of the Prachachart Party, at his residence in Bacho district, Narathiwat.

Pol. Col. Tawee attended a meeting to receive updates on the case with Police Lieutenant General Krisada Kaewjandee, Commander of the Office of the National Police Commander, and Police Major General Prayong Khotsakha, Commander of Narathiwat Provincial Police, along with related officials to track the suspects involved in this serious crime, which has attracted widespread public attention.

He revealed after the discussion that the incident is a very serious case, especially as it occurred after the election, in which Kamolsak was the MP who received the highest votes in Narathiwat province. He came to follow up on the injured's recovery and to encourage the officers involved.

"I urged the police not to rely solely on intuition in their investigation but to focus heavily on scientific evidence. From my personal experience, the fact that the perpetrators acted late at night and knew the MP’s movements to return home indicates thorough planning," said Pol. Col. Tawee. Pol. Col. Tawee stated.

Additionally, the Prachachart Party leader speculated on the suspects’ escape routes and weapon transport, noting that armed perpetrators typically avoid regular checkpoints. If they could move weapons and commit the crime in an area with dense checkpoints, it strongly suggests a "conspiracy" or assistance from insiders along the route. He urged officials to expedite uncovering the truth for transparency and to build public confidence.

When asked whether the motive stemmed from intense political conflict in Narathiwat, Pol. Col. Tawee said that during the one-month campaign period, the Prachachart Party continuously met villagers until midnight every day without any escort vehicles leading the convoy.

"We assess that we have no conflicts with local residents because during the campaign, with clear destinations and routes, no incidents occurred. Therefore, the timing of this incident requires considering other causes alongside the investigation. However, it remains the officials’ responsibility to collect evidence," he added.
