The spokesperson for the Palang Pracharath Party proposed three policies for government consideration and expressed confidence that the new cabinet would be formed by 9 April, while the list of ministers remains under qualification review. The party is awaiting further government notification regarding which ministerial posts it will hold.
At 13:45 on 22 March 2026, Mr. Yutthana Sritabutr, Member of Parliament for Nong Khai and spokesperson for the Palang Pracharath Party, stated that the party is ready to work with Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul's government. Following the appointment of the party's new executive committee and internal discussions, the party plans to advance three key policies that align with and will be proposed to the government, including:
1. A policy to expand the "State Welfare Card" benefits from 300 baht to 700 baht per person.
2. "Thai Labor to the Global Market," aiming to promote Thai labor in the current global context.
3. "Progressive Conscripted Soldiers," offering special incentives to those who choose to enlist as conscripts.
Confident in cabinet formation by 9 April
Mr. Yutthana also commented on the government formation process following the House of Representatives’ vote appointing Mr. Anutin as the 32nd Prime Minister. He noted that the qualifications of the new cabinet members are still being reviewed. Mr. Bowornsak Uwanno, the designated Deputy Prime Minister for legal affairs, previously acknowledged the need for strict vetting, which requires more time. He admitted that more than half of the new cabinet members are likely to be returning ministers, while the qualifications of new appointees require careful scrutiny.
“Personally, I believe the new cabinet will be finalized around 9 April 2026,” Mr. Yutthana said, adding that the party is still waiting for official notification on which positions it will be assigned.
