On 22 Mar 2026 GMT+7, the Royal Gazette website published the Prime Minister's order No. /2569 concerning measures to resolve and prevent fuel shortages caused by the Middle East conflict (No. 2, 2026). It stated that it is appropriate to amend the Prime Minister's order No. 2/2569 dated 6 Mar 2026 to allow oil traders to release reserve oil promptly and widely to serve the public and businesses. Under the authority of Section 3 of the Emergency Decree on Fuel Shortage Prevention, 1973, the Prime Minister issued the following order.
Section 1: This order shall take effect from the date of publication in the Royal Gazette onward.
Section 2: Clauses 4 and 5 of the Prime Minister's order No. 2/2569 dated 6 Mar 2026 are hereby revoked.
Regarding measures to resolve and prevent fuel shortages, dated 6 Mar 2026.
