Anutin 2nd Cabinet Minister List Submitted to 8 Qualification Screening Agencies, Confirming Inclusion of “Sutawan”

The Anutin 2nd Cabinet has submitted qualifications, with the Pheu Thai party completing all documents, including “Sutawan.” Meanwhile, the Anutin 2nd Cabinet ministerial list has reached 8 qualification screening agencies.


On 23 Mar 2026 GMT+7, reporters observed an active atmosphere in the afternoon at the Secretariat of the Cabinet (SLC), Government House, where teams of those named in the Anutin 2nd Cabinet lineup continued to arrive to submit documents for background and qualification checks.


At 13:15, the team of Mr. Watcharapol Khawkhum, Member of Parliament for Udon Thani from Pheu Thai (PT) and nominated as Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Cooperatives, came to submit documents at the SLC building. Afterwards, the team of Mr. Siripong Angkasungkiat, MP for Sisaket from Bhumjaithai (BJT) and nominated as Deputy Minister of Transport, also submitted his background documents.


At 13:40, Mr. Warawut Silpa-archa, party list MP from Bhumjaithai and nominee for Minister of Industry, and Mr. Surasak Pancharoenworakul, nominee for Minister of Tourism and Sports, sent their teams to submit documents as well.


Additionally, reports indicated that Mr. Sanphet Boonyamanee, MP for Songkhla from Bhumjaithai and nominee for Deputy Minister of Transport; Ms. Nan Boonthida Somchai, MP for Ubon Ratchathani and nominee for Deputy Minister of Digital Economy and Society; and Mr. Pipat Ratchakitprakarn, Bhumjaithai party leader and Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Transport nominee, have also sent teams to submit documents for qualification checks.


There are reports that the Pheu Thai party has submitted documentsfor qualificationsand backgrounds completely, including Ms. Sutawan Wangsupakitkosol, party list MP and deputy party leader nominated as Minister of Social Development and Human Security; Ms. Piyarat Tiyapairat, MP for Chiang Rai nominated as Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Cooperatives; and Mr. Akkaranan Kankittinan, MP for Kanchanaburi nominated as Deputy Minister of Education, who have sent teams to submit documents for qualification review.


Reporters noted that regarding the progress of the Anutin 2nd Cabinet's qualification and background submissions, on the same day, nearly all individuals named in the cabinet lineup have sent teams to deliver their documents to the SLC to confirm their qualifications and backgrounds. The full ministerial list submitted by the Prime Minister to the SLC has already been forwarded to 8 agencies for verification, including: 1. Royal Thai Police; 2. Office of the Judiciary; 3. National Anti-Corruption Commission (NACC); 4. Constitutional Court; 5. Department of Legal Execution; 6. Election Commission; 7. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC);SEC) and 8. Office of the Attorney General (OAG).


For any names flagged during the verification process, the SLC will consult with the Office of the Council of State. The aim is to complete all qualification checks before the Songkran festival.
