Prime Minister Anutin commented on Facebook, revealing that Wannor has accepted the position as chairman of the Prime Minister's advisory committee to help foster peace and stability in the area.
On 25 March 2026 GMT+7, reporters reported that Mr. Anutin Charnvirakul, Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, commented on the Facebook page of Mr. Sugarno Mata, Yala MP and Secretary-General of the Prachachat Party, saying “I sincerely thank the Prachachat Party for working for the nation and the people together. I have respectfully invited Professor Wannor (Mr. Wan Muhamad Nor Mata), Chairman of the Prachachat Party's advisory board, to help take care of the Muslim community and to work on building peace and stability in various areas as the chairman of the Prime Minister’s advisory committee, and he has graciously accepted.”
Mr. Sugarno replied, “I must thank the Prime Minister for giving Prachachat this opportunity.”
