Government Encourages Citizens to Register for “Air Conditioner Cleaning to Help the Nation” Program to Receive a 300 Baht Discount with 30,000 Quotas

The government invites citizens to register for the “Air Conditioner Cleaning to Help the Nation” program from 25 Mar to 23 May 2026, offering a 300 baht discount on air conditioner cleaning with 30,000 quotas available.

On 25 March 2026, Ms. Airin Panrit, Deputy Spokesperson of the Office of the Prime Minister, stated that amid the conflict in the Middle East, the government has been closely monitoring the situation and is advancing integrated cooperation to address issues, particularly energy problems, to alleviate the public's difficulties through various assistance measures.

Ms. Airin said the government, through the Ministry of Energy and the Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand (EGAT), in collaboration with private sector partners, has implemented energy-saving measures through the “Air Conditioner Cleaning to Help the Nation” project. Partnering with department stores and online service providers, the program offers a 300 baht discount on air conditioner cleaning with 30,000 quotas, and a discount on Grade 5 product purchases with 15,000 quotas, expected to reduce electricity consumption and carbon dioxide emissions.

Interested citizens can register to participate in the program between 25 March and 23 May 2026. Registration will be available at department stores and online service providers. Applicants must prepare the following documents: 1. National ID card; 2. One month’s electricity bill for 2026 (including the electricity user number). These rights are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash. For more information on how to use the rights, inquiries can be made through LINE OA:https://line.me/R/ti/p/@734giksj

“This program is part of the campaign to encourage the public to maintain electrical appliances efficiently. Regular air conditioner cleaning enhances the unit’s performance, reduces energy consumption, and helps save electricity costs in the long run, in line with the government’s energy-saving policy.”
