The Democrat Party has strengthened its communications team by appointing two additional deputy spokespeople, Pasin and Weer, to energize the younger generation and reaffirm the party's commitment to being a political institution that listens to the people.
On 25 March 2026, the Democrat Party appointed additional deputy spokespeople to reinforce its communications team, making it stronger and more comprehensive across all dimensions. These appointments aim to leverage the potential of young individuals closely connected to local areas and well-versed in diverse social contexts. The appointees are Mr. Pasin Pitutecha, MP for Rayong District 3, and Ms. Weer Sriworathanaboon.
This expansion of the communications team reiterates the party's commitment under the leadership of Mr. Abhisit Vejjajiva to truly make the Democrat Party "a political institution that listens to the people."
Mr. Pasin Pitutecha said, "I feel honored and very pleased to be entrusted with the role of deputy party spokesperson. I have grown with the Democrat Party since the day I graduated, starting as a campaign leaflet distributor, then becoming an MP assistant, a party branch committee member, and later the chairman of the Democrat Party's Rayong provincial branch. All these experiences have shaped my understanding of the party's ideals and the expectations of the people."
He added, "Now that the party has given me the opportunity to serve as deputy spokesperson, I commit to working diligently to communicate information beneficial to the public and to build confidence in the party so that our Democrat Party remains an important political institution in the country’s future."
Meanwhile, Ms. Weer Sriworathanaboon said many may know her from her candidacy in the recent parliamentary elections or through her music and media work, including artbangkok, which supports artists across various fields, and modernmidlife, which gathers and presents information about long-term quality of life. She has worked as an artist and communicator, using storytelling and art to make complex ideas more accessible. She graduated from the Faculty of Arts at Chulalongkorn University (BALAC) and has worked continuously in media since 2020 alongside her music and related projects.
Based on her experience, Weer believes that good intentions combined with effective communication can bridge differing views and help society progress.
Ms. Weer stated, "Today, I have the opportunity to serve as an assistant spokesperson for the Democrat Party, marking another step to apply my communication skills, perspectives, and diverse experiences to help make the party's political communication more varied, accessible, and connected with the public. I am very happy to work with everyone and will do my best in this role."
