Wisut Expresses Concern Over Rising Living Costs and Fuel Prices Amidst Stagnant Incomes, Urges Parliament to Address Public Hardship

Wisut expressed concern over rising living costs and fuel prices while incomes have not increased accordingly. He asked whether those in power hear the people's voices and stressed that members of parliament must stand alongside citizens and bring their difficulties into the parliamentary arena.

27 Mar 2026 GMT+7 Wisut Chaiyanrun, a party-list Member of Parliament from the Pheu Thai Party, spoke about the increasing living costs faced by the public, especially fuel prices, and fertilizer prices, which have continuously risen, affecting many citizens and farmers nationwide. He said that during this time of hardship caused by soaring living costs, he, as a representative, stands with the people and will fully convey their problems to the House of Representatives to push relevant agencies to urgently find concrete measures to alleviate the impact.

At the same time, Wisut also called on the government to consider better measures to manage energy prices and agricultural costs, as these are crucial factors for farmers, so the burden does not fall entirely on the people while the economy has yet to fully recover. Currently, voices of concern from people are rising across the country, with all areas affected by the soaring cost of living. He wants to ask those in power whether they hear the people's suffering.

“Today, many people are bearing the burden of higher living costs, including fuel and fertilizer prices, but incomes have not kept pace. As a representative, I will stand with the people and am ready to push all channels in parliament.”
