Government Presents Economic Team on Stage: One Month of Global Crisis: Thailands Response Plan in a Changed World

The government invites the public to follow the forum "One Month of Global Crisis: Thailand's Response Plan in a Changed World." The Prime Minister brings the economic team to explain measures already implemented and the next phase plans, to help understand limitations under the concept "Change to Survive."

27 March 2026 GMT+7 Ms. Ratchada Thanadirek, Assistant Minister to the Prime Minister's Office, revealed that the government invites the public to join the "Meet the Press" forum under the theme "One Month of Global Crisis: Thailand's Response Plan in a Changed World," led by Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul, accompanied by the economic team including Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance Akniti Nitithanprapas, Minister of Commerce Supachai Sutthampan, Minister of Energy Atthapol Rerkpiboon, Minister of Foreign Affairs Sihasak Puangketkaew, and Secretary of the National Economic and Social Development Council Danucha Pichayanan.

They will discuss the situation and government response one month after the Middle East crisis that affected global energy prices and living costs. The forum will provide an exchange of views and answer all questions based on facts on Saturday, 28 March 2026, from 10:00 to 12:00 at the Santi Maitri Building, Government House, broadcast live via the"Thai Koo Fah" Facebook pageand NBT.

At this forum, the Prime Minister and the economic team will speak with the media to provide a straightforward overview of the situation. The government acknowledges that this global crisis is severe and widely impacts energy, production costs, and the people's living expenses. The government will explain measures already taken and plans for ongoing management, to provide a comprehensive picture and clarify the situation’s limitations under the concept "Change to Survive." The government affirms that alleviating hardship remains a key mission, accelerating measures to stabilize the situation while maintaining long-term national stability.

However, given the high challenges of this crisis that cannot be resolved by the government alone, cooperation from all sectors—government, private sector, citizens, and media—is essential. Thailand can sustain and overcome this period together. Besides the meeting, the forum will allow media to question important public concerns, including product prices, energy, and economic direction ahead. The Prime Minister and team are ready to listen to all feedback and adjust operations to align with the rapidly changing situation. The public is invited to follow the live broadcast via the Thai Koo Fah page and Public Relations Department media.
