Foreign Minister Sihasak emphasized that the fate of the three crew members of the "Mayuree Naree" remains unknown and confirmed that full coordination with Iran is underway to provide assistance.
At 09:38 on 28 March at the Government House, Mr. Sihasak Puangketkaew, Minister of Foreign Affairs, gave an update on the rescue of the three crew members of the "Mayuree Naree." He said they are still monitoring the situation through Iran. As he previously stated, Iran has accessed the vessel but the fate of the three crew members remains uncertain. He is following up with the Iranian ambassador to Thailand and has just sent a letter to Iran's Foreign Minister urging urgent assistance, as they want to know the fate of all three crew members as soon as possible.
When asked again whether the status of the three crew members has been confirmed, Mr. Sihasak said they are still monitoring and affirmed that they will do their utmost.
