Anutin reiterated that the new cabinet list is finalized and will be submitted to the King early next week. He confirmed the 'Khon La Khrueng Plus' program is definitely coming and will be more comprehensive. Details will soon be finalized and submitted to the Finance Ministry.
On 28 March 2026 at the Government House, Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul spoke about submitting the list of ministers to be presented to the King, saying it will be completed early next week. When asked if there were any issues with the cabinet members proposed by coalition parties, Anutin replied, "Let's not discuss that. The list to be submitted has no problems. It has undergone detailed qualification checks by relevant agencies and the Secretariat of the Cabinet (SLC)."
When asked about the earlier press conference mentioning the 'Khon La Khrueng Plus' program, and if it would be implemented once the situation returns to normal, Anutin said the policy must be introduced regardless of the situation. It is a pledge that the Bhumjaithai Party has made to the people and reflects the policy direction for the upcoming government they will lead.
Regarding the timeframe for the 'Khon La Khrueng Plus' program following the policy announcement, Anutin said they have assessed public use of the program at the end of last year. Everyone was satisfied and called for this measure to stimulate the economy and spending to keep money circulating domestically. There has been no leakage abroad. Thus, the program is beneficial, and the government recovers tax revenue—it's a win-win for all sectors. If the new government takes office, they will expedite and push the program forward as quickly as possible. This program is like a flagship initiative pledged to the public. He emphasized it is unrelated to the oil crisis or Middle East issues, which concern national security separately.
When asked if the 'Khon La Khrueng Plus' program would provide 2,000 baht as the Prime Minister mentioned, Anutin said it will indeed be 'plus.' Regarding the amount and format, according to reports from the Finance Minister, there will be an increase and various versions that will be clearer and more comprehensive.
Asked if the program will still cover taxpayers as before, since some feel the government's seven measures did not include this group, Anutin said he would leave the details to the Finance Minister to clarify. However, the program must pass cabinet consideration and will be proposed by the Finance Ministry. It will definitely happen, with increased benefits. The public has shown confidence and appreciation for the program.
