RTSC Defends Peerapuns Comments on Oil Crisis, Questions Why Government Wont Listen

The deputy spokesperson of the Ruam Thai Sang Chart Party refuted Siripong’s defense of Peerapun, pointing out that his comments on the oil crisis aim to help the government find solutions for the country. He criticized the government for countering every proposal and questioned why they refuse to listen, even when some suggestions benefit the nation.

On 29 March 2026, Ms. Sasikarn Wattanajan, deputy spokesperson of the Ruam Thai Sang Chart Party, addressed the case where Mr. Siripong Angkasakulkiat, deputy leader of the Bhumjaithai Party, referenced Mr. Peerapun Saleerutwipak, head of Ruam Thai Sang Chart Party, using language that caused public misunderstanding regarding critiques of the oil crisis. She urged putting politics aside, emphasizing that this crisis is a national emergency that everyone must unite to overcome, regardless of government positions.

She explained that the sole reason Peerapun spoke out now is to assist the government in finding solutions by highlighting the government's authority to create fairness for the public through legal management of oil traders. However, it seems the government tries to reject every suggestion as impossible. She expressed puzzlement why some proposals beneficial to the nation are not heeded.

She affirmed that Peerapun and the Ruam Thai Sang Chart Party’s only goal is to provide accurate information to the administration so it is not misled or exploited by ill-intentioned parties seeking personal gain, enabling all Thai people to successfully navigate this crisis.
