On 30 March 2026, the Royal Gazette website published a proclamation appointing a commissioned officer as a Royal Guard officer by royal command.
By virtue of the powers under Section 7 of the 2017 Security Provision Act, Sections 6, 9, and 10 of the 2037 Royal Guards Act,
and Clause 4 of the 2016 Ministry of Defence regulations on Royal Guard appointments, His Majesty graciously appointed Air Commodore Thanasak Si Khao, holding the position of Special Operations Officer, as a Royal Guard officer.
This appointment takes effect from 25 March 2026.
The proclamation was made on 27 March 2026, the 11th year of the current reign.
