His Majesty Appoints Anutins Second Cabinet: Anutin Serves as Prime Minister and Interior Minister

Royal appointment of Anutin's second cabinet: The Royal Gazette published a proclamation that His Majesty has graciously appointed ministers, with Anutin serving as Prime Minister and concurrently Minister of the Interior, and Ekniti, Sihasak, Suphajee, and Pakorn as Deputy Prime Ministers.


On 31 March 2026 GMT+7, the Royal Gazette website published the ministerial appointment announcement stating that His Majesty King Vajiralongkorn Bodindradebayavarangkun has issued a royal command to proclaim that His Majesty has graciously appointed Mr. Anutin Chanvirakul as Prime Minister according to the announcement dated 19 March 2026 GMT+7.

Now, Prime Minister Anutin Chanvirakul has selected qualified individuals to serve as ministers to govern the country. Under the authority of Section 158 of the Constitution of the Kingdom of Thailand, His Majesty has graciously

appointed the following ministers:

Mr. Pipat Ratchakitprakarn as Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Transport.

Mr. Songsak Thongsri as Deputy Prime Minister.

Mr. Ekniti Nitithanprapas as Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance.

Mr. Sihasak Phuangketkaew as Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs.

Ms. Suphajee Suthumpun as Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Commerce.

Mr. Pakorn Nilprapunt as Deputy Prime Minister.

Mr. Yotsanan Wongsawat as Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation.

Ms. Supamas Esrapakdee as Minister attached to the Prime Minister's Office.

Mr. Napin Srisappang as Minister attached to the Prime Minister's Office.

Mr. Pradorn Prisana-nantakul as Minister attached to the Prime Minister's Office.

Ms. Suksamruay Wantaneeyakul as Minister attached to the Prime Minister's Office.

Lieutenant General Adul Boonthamcharoen as Minister of Defence.

Mr. Surasak Pancharoenworakul as Minister of Tourism and Sports.

Mr. Nikorn Somklang as Minister of Social Development and Human Security.


Mr. Suriya Jungrungreangkit as Minister of Agriculture and Cooperatives.

Mr. Watcharapol Khaokha as Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Cooperatives.

Ms. Piyaratch Tiyapairat as Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Cooperatives.

Mr. Siripong Angkasakulkiat as Deputy Minister of Transport.

Mr. Pattarapong Pattaraprasit as Deputy Minister of Transport.

Mr. Sanphet Boonyamanee as Deputy Minister of Transport.

Mr. Chaichon Chidchob as Minister of Digital Economy and Society.

Mr. Anutin Chanvirakul as Minister of the Interior in addition to being Prime Minister.

Mr. Jeset Thaiset as Deputy Minister of the Interior.

Mr. Worasit Liangprasit as Deputy Minister of the Interior.

Police Lieutenant General Ruthapon Nawarat as Minister of Justice.

Mr. Julaphan Amornwiwat as Minister of Labour.

Ms. Sabida Thaiset as Minister of Culture.

Mr. Prasert Chanruangthong as Minister of Education.

Mr. Akkaranan Kankittinan as Deputy Minister of Education.

Mr. Pattana Promphat as Minister of Public Health.

Mr. Warawut Silpa-archa as Minister of Industry.

These appointments take effect immediately.
