Anutin led a meeting of Bhumjaithai MPs, stressing the need to coordinate between the executive branch and MPs to promptly resolve problems affecting the public in all areas. The party will hold a major merit-making event on 6 April and is preparing to announce its policy on 9-10 April.
On 31 March 2026 at 3:00 p.m., at the Bhumjaithai Party headquarters, Mr. Anutin Charnvirakul, party leader, chaired a meeting of the party's MPs, attended by leading ministers from the party. At 4:40 p.m., Ms. Nan Boonthida Somchai, Deputy Minister of Digital Economy and Society and party spokesperson, announced that the meeting discussed public concerns, especially the impact from the Middle East conflict. Feedback from MPs was shared to plan how the government and MPs would coordinate to urgently solve these issues. MPs must bring public problems to the government promptly because the public's hardship extends beyond fuel prices; many goods have started to rise in price. Additionally, the meeting discussed preparations for the party's 18th anniversary on 6 April, which will include a major merit-making ceremony at the party headquarters.
Anutin is set to present the policy statement on 9-10 April.
Reporters noted that the timeline for the policy statement to Parliament was initially set for 7-9 April. However, since Mr. Anutin is scheduled to lead the new cabinet in taking the oath of office on 6 April, with a special cabinet meeting that day to approve the policy draft, the timeline shifted. Given the requirement that the cabinet must submit the policy draft to the parliamentary speaker to distribute to members for study three days before the presentation, the timeline was adjusted to 9-10 April, with about two days allocated for the statement. The draft policy statement will be approximately 20 pages long.
