"Amint" closes his chapter as Deputy Minister of Agriculture, stressing that although his status changes, his heart remains the same. He is ready to continue all promises despite shifting roles.
On 31 Mar 2026 GMT+7, Mr. Amint Mayuso, MP for Narathiwat Constituency 2 from the Kla Tham Party, gave an open statement following the official conclusion of his duties as Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Cooperatives. He said that despite the brief period, he gained deep insight into farmers' problems nationwide, especially in the three southern border provinces that require ongoing healing and development. All projects and promises made to the people will not be abandoned halfway. Though his role changes, he will continue to monitor and push for their completion as originally intended.
"Regardless of whether my political status is in opposition or government going forward, I will always stand with the people to voice their hardships in parliament," said Amint. He thanked Lt. Col. Thammanat Prompao, Kla Tham Party advisory chairman, for the significant opportunity to serve in administration, and expressed gratitude for all the support from the public throughout his tenure. Going forward, he will return to fully serve as a constituency MP, focusing on addressing livelihood issues and improving farmers' quality of life as a representative of Narathiwat residents and all Thai people.
