CSOC Plans to Change Meeting Schedule to Brief Only Three Days: Monday, Wednesday, and Friday

Phiphat has assigned the Energy Permanent Secretary to lead the CSOC meetings. CSOC spokesperson Bow Nattha revealed that meeting times might be changed to better align with media schedules, with briefings planned every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.

At 16:30 on 31 Mar 2026 GMT+7, at the Center for Operations and Monitoring of the Middle East Conflict Situation (CSOC), Deputy Prime Minister and Transport Minister Phiphat Ratchakitprakarn, serving as CSOC director, assigned Prasert Sinsukprasert, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Energy, to chair the meeting in his stead due to prior commitments.

Meanwhile, CSOC spokesperson Nattha Mahattana stated that today's briefing is scheduled for 18:05. However, there have been informal discussions about possibly adjusting meeting times in the future to better match media news presentation schedules. This will require further discussion. As this period is a government transition, sudden changes or short-notice adjustments may occur, and apologies were extended for any inconvenience.

The Deputy Director-General of the Public Relations Department noted that it might be appropriate to space out briefings so each unit has time to carry out operations and gather accurate information to present to the public. The considered days for meetings and briefings are Monday, Wednesday, or Friday.
