
Yotsanan visits Government House for the first time, accompanies Julpan for lunch with the Prime Minister; expected to discuss the direction of coalition government work.
At 11:30 a.m. on 2 April 2026 at Government House, Mr. Yotsanan Wongsawat, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation, together with Mr. Julpan Amornwiwat, Minister of Labour and leader of the Pheu Thai Party, arrived at Government House’s Thai Koo Fah Building as scheduled to have lunch with Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul, who is also Minister of Interior.
They were welcomed by Mr. Pradorn Prissanantakul, Minister attached to the Prime Minister’s Office, and Ms. Traisuli Traisornkul, a party-list MP of the Bhumjaithai Party. Upon stepping out of the car, Mr. Yotsanan waved to greet members of the media waiting to cover the event.
This marked Mr. Yotsanan’s first visit to Government House. The meeting is expected to include discussions on collaborative working directions with the Bhumjaithai Party, as well as preparations for the policy announcement scheduled for 9-10 April.
