Assets of Anan Suwanrat, New Election Commissioner, Worth 29.2 Million Baht Without Debt

The National Anti-Corruption Commission disclosed that Anan Suwanrat, newly appointed as an Election Commissioner, has assets totaling 29.2 million baht with no debts, primarily invested in savings cooperatives, stocks, and mutual funds.


On 3 Apr 2026, the National Anti-Corruption Commission (NACC) revealed the asset and debt declaration of Anan Suwanrat upon his appointment as Election Commissioner on 7 Dec 2025. Anan and his spouse, Patchaporn Suwanrat, reported combined assets of 29,218,813 baht with no debts. Anan's assets total 21,790,033 baht, including nine deposit accounts holding 18,734,161 baht, mostly in the Agriculture Department's savings cooperative and the Bank for Agriculture and Agricultural Cooperatives. Investments in stocks and mutual funds amount to 2,327,872 baht. He owns one plot of land in Makham District, Chanthaburi Province, valued at 228,000 baht, and vehicles worth 500,000 baht. He reported no other assets. His total annual income is about 2,743,000 baht, comprising 2,453,000 baht in salary, wages, and pension, plus 200,000 baht in meeting allowances. Annual expenses total 758,257 baht, including 600,000 baht for living costs, 58,257 baht for life insurance premiums, and 100,000 baht in charitable donations.


Patchaporn has total assets of 7,428,780 baht, including five deposit accounts holding 2,395,380 baht, investments worth 265,399 baht, two plots of land in the Taling Chan area of Bangkok valued at 3,168,000 baht, and a residential house in the Thawi Watthana area of Bangkok worth 1.5 million baht. She also owns vehicles valued at 100,000 baht and no other assets. She did not declare annual income but reported annual expenses of 350,000 baht, including 300,000 baht for living costs and 50,000 baht to support her parents.


Anan previously served as Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives in 2018. After retiring from civil service, before becoming Election Commissioner, he held positions such as a member of Kasetsart University Council, subcommittee member on agricultural research personnel development at the Agricultural Research Development Agency (Public Organization), chairman of the ethics committee at the Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives Secretariat, and board member of several companies including Poemphon Productivity Co., Ltd., Poemphon Silo Co., Ltd., and Suvan Fertilizer Co., Ltd.
