
Deputy Ministers of Transport Siripong, Patthapong, and Sanphet paraded in with garlands to pay respects to Minister Pipat, hoping for smooth cooperation. The Minister assigned each deputy minister to resolve fuel shortages along routes in their respective regions.
At 9:30 a.m. on 3 April 2026, a reporter at the Ministry of Transport reported that Mr. Pipat Ratchakitprakarn, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Transport, invited the three incoming Deputy Ministers of Transport—Mr. Siripong Angkasangkulkiat, Mr. Patthapong Pattharaprasit, and Mr. Sanphet Boonyamanee—to the Ministry. They brought garlands to pay respects and greet each other as they prepared to work together at the Ministry of Transport. Meanwhile, Minister Pipat was preparing to attend a committee meeting to address fuel shortages for travelers returning to their hometowns during the Songkran festival.
Minister Pipat assigned each Deputy Minister of Transport to oversee management and facilitate convenient refueling for the public to prevent shortages throughout their journeys back home. Mr. Patthapong was assigned responsibility for routes in the northern and central regions, Mr. Siripong for the northeastern region, and Mr. Sanphet for the southern region.
On Tuesday, 7 April, at 8:19 a.m., Minister Pipat, along with Deputy Ministers Siripong Angkasangkulkiat, Patthapong Pattharaprasit, and Sanphet Boonyamanee, will pay respects to the sacred symbols of the Ministry of Transport. Regarding the allocation of affiliated agencies under the Ministry for oversight by each minister, it is expected that Minister Pipat will be responsible for the Department of Highways, Department of Rural Roads, State Railway of Thailand (SRT), Airports of Thailand Public Company Limited (AOT), and the Mass Rapid Transit Authority of Thailand (MRTA), among others.
Deputy Minister Siripong will oversee the Department of Land Transport (DLT) and all land transport operations.
Deputy Minister Patthapong will supervise aviation-related agencies, including Aeronautical Radio of Thailand Limited (AEROTHAI), Department of Airports (DOA), Expressway Authority of Thailand (EXAT), and Suvarnabhumi Airport Hotel Company Limited.
Deputy Minister Sanphet will oversee all water transport operations, including the Marine Department and the Port Authority of Thailand (PAT), among others.
