Srisuwan revealed that the Election Commission has summoned him to provide a statement next week concerning the use of Laser ID and Spectre C in assisting media production and political mobilization for the People's Party.
On 4 Apr at 09:00, Mr. Srisuwan Janya, leader of the Rak Chart Rak Paendin organization, disclosed that he received a "confidential" letter from the Election Commission (EC) today, summoning him to give a statement to the political party registrar regarding the People's Party's online or computer-based membership registration system, which requires applicants to enter their Laser ID (the code on the back of their ID card). There may also be IO operations driven by Spectre C, potentially controlling party activities and possibly violating the 2017 Political Parties Act. This follows tips reported by Rak Chart Rak Paendin to the EC on 17 Feb 2026 and 13 Mar 2026 about the People's Party admitting a long-term leak of confidential member data due to insecure and improper registration systems. Furthermore, former Bangkok MP Thisana Chunhawun revealed that Spectre C Co., Ltd., located in the same building as the People's Party's office in the Future Forward building, has been heavily involved in media production and political mobilization, stirring public opinion and responding to social media comments.
Mr. Srisuwan added that both actions risk violating the 2019 Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA), criminal laws concerning users or contractors under Section 84, and the 2017 Constitution’s Sections 32 and 25. These acts threaten member data and may disrupt public order or morality. They might also breach Sections 45 and 92(3) of the 2017 Political Parties Act, which could lead the Constitutional Court to dissolve the offending political party.
