Chaiwut Urges MPs to Understand Issues Deeply and Avoid Using AI for Debate Speeches

Chaiwut warned MPs not to use AI for writing debate speeches and encouraged them to study and write their own. He stressed that as representatives, they must communicate what they know and understand deeply. Concerned about parliament’s image, he urged avoiding emotional behavior and proposed that the Speaker arrange training for new MPs.

On 4 April 2026, Chaiwut Thanakmanusorn, leader of the Rakchat Party, expressed his concern about MPs’ duties in the House of Representatives. He said their work should be based on reason and logic. MPs should study, analyze, and write their debate speeches themselves rather than relying on artificial intelligence (AI) or having others write for them, since representatives need to speak and communicate from their own thorough knowledge and understanding of issues.

Chaiwut said he asked MPs to exercise maturity in their duties by avoiding emotional outbursts, quarrels, or insults aimed at gaining public attention. Such behavior harms and damages the credibility and image of the House of Representatives as a whole. During debates, he wants MPs to speak with reason and respect the rules to ensure fair time allocation and allow all MPs to voice the concerns of their local constituents.

Chaiwut requested the Speaker of the House to promptly consult with leaders of all political parties to arrange training sessions for MPs, especially newcomers. This is to ensure correct understanding of rules, etiquette, and regulations in parliamentary sessions, so that parliamentary work proceeds effectively and with the highest dignity.
