
Officials are renovating the facilities at Government House in preparation for the new Cabinet, cleaning the exterior walls of the Thai Khu Fah Building and making adjustments to rooms in Command Building 1.
On 4 Apr 2026 GMT+7, reporters observed the atmosphere at Government House before the Prime Minister leads the new Cabinet in the oath-taking ceremony scheduled for 6 Apr. During the holiday, staff began renovating the premises. At the Thai Khu Fah Building, which serves as the Prime Minister's office, algae was scrubbed from the exterior walls, especially the front and the second-floor balcony. Meanwhile, at Command Building 1, home to the offices of the Deputy Prime Minister and ministers attached to the Prime Minister's Office, workers renovated the fourth-floor office of Mrs. Suksamruay Wantaneeyakul, Minister attached to the Prime Minister's Office. Additionally, furniture for the offices of deputy prime ministers and ministers has been gradually moved into place.
