Prime Minister Leads Cabinet in ID Photo Session Before Evening Oath Ceremony

The Prime Minister arrived at the Government House leading the Cabinet to take ID photos and pay respects to "Narasimha," a sacred symbol of the Thai Khu Fah building, before leading the Cabinet to the oath-taking ceremony this evening.


At 14:00 on 6 Apr 2026 GMT+7, Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Anutin Charnvirakul arrived at the Government House in his private electric car. Upon arrival, he led part of the Cabinet to pay respects to the sacred symbols of the Thai Khu Fah building, beginning with Narasimha located at the front balcony of the building. Present were Deputy Prime Minister Ekniti Nitithanprapas, Deputy Prime Ministers Supachai Suthampan and Pakorn Nilprapunt, Energy Minister Eknat Phromphan, Industry Minister Varawut Silpa-archa, and MP Traisuli Traisornkul, a party-list MP from the Bhumjaithai Party who is set to become Secretary to the Prime Minister.


After paying respects to the sacred symbols at the Thai Khu Fah building, the Prime Minister proceeded to have official Cabinet ID photos taken. He will then lead the Cabinet to the Amphon Sathan Throne Hall at Dusit Palace at 19:00 to take the oath of office. At 20:00, the Prime Minister will chair a special Cabinet meeting at the Santi Maitri Building (rear wing) of the Government House.
