Anutin guarantees the profiles of the three Deputy Ministers of the Interior, insisting that work assigned today must have been completed the day before yesterday, and declares there is no KPI paperwork; rest whenever fatigued.
At 09:20 on 7 Apr 2026 GMT+7 at the Ministry of Interior, Anutin Charnvirakul, Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, spoke after meeting ministry officials. He emphasized that, as this is a new government, the Ministry of Interior has three Deputy Ministers. He informed them of the agencies each oversees, which are supervisory roles within their domains. However, their main duty is to act like the Minister of Interior in every place they go, able to resolve problems on all fronts, not just within their assigned agencies.
When asked about the KPIs set for the three ministers, Anutin said everyone must work hard. Having reached this position, they have proven their knowledge, capability, dedication, and willingness to sacrifice and work hard, which led to their appointment as Deputy Ministers of Interior. Therefore, there is no KPI on paper. When they feel tired, they should rest accordingly. All three are at an age and readiness to work and sacrifice fully for the people.
When asked if the rule that work assigned today must have been completed yesterday still applies, Anutin replied that for these three, it must have been done the day before yesterday. They have worked with him for a long time, having served as his secretaries, party members of Bhumjaithai, and individuals he has entrusted with responsibilities in the field to care for the people.
Regarding most ministers being relatively young but having to work with older officials, Anutin said they have been MPs for at least three to four terms each. Though younger compared to him, they are in their working prime, possessing qualifications and maturity to collaborate with all parties and have close understanding and sensitivity to the people's feelings, which is very important.
