The Klaatham Party has taken the lead in submitting three bills to parliament and is prepared to monitor the government to ensure it fulfills promises made to the public. It is still unclear whether Thammanat will participate in the debate.
On 8 April 2026, Mr. Attakorn Sirilattayakorn, MP for Chachoengsao from the Klaatham Party, led the submission of three bills: the National Education Act, the Land Reform and Agricultural Area Protection Act, and the Agricultural Volunteers Act. This followed complaints that agricultural volunteers involved in research projects receive no compensation.
The National Education Act bill reflects the intent of Dr. Narumon Pinyosinwat to reform education for development. The Land Reform and Agricultural Area Protection Act stems from close ties with the Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives, aiming to address gaps in assisting citizens holding Agricultural Land Reform (Sor Por Kor) land. The Agricultural Volunteers Act was proposed after complaints that volunteers work wholeheartedly but without pay.
When asked about any concerning points in the government's policy statement, Mr. Attakorn affirmed that all ministers’ policies have been carefully considered. Although some areas may not yet be comprehensive, the important thing is that announced policies must be implemented and benefit the public.
Earlier that morning, discussions were held about jointly monitoring this government, especially on the upcoming Thursday and Friday when the government will explain its policies through parliamentary procedures to the public. The party's role is to push the government to fulfill its promises, and if it fails to do so, to scrutinize and pressure it accordingly.
Asked whether Lt. Col. Thammanat would be among the 20 debaters, Mr. Attakorn said efforts are underway to persuade him. Previously, Thammanat expressed a desire for MPs from all regions to reflect local issues as much as possible. If time permits, he may speak during the concluding segment.
