The Government Gazette announces a 2-baht-per-liter reduction in refinery prices for rapid-circulation diesel fuels B0, B7, and B20, effective from tomorrow onward.
On 8 April 2026 GMT+7, the Government Gazette website published the announcement from the Energy Policy Administration Committee regarding the price reduction at refineries for rapid-circulation diesel fuel as follows.
The ongoing conflict in the Middle East involving the United States, Israel, and Iran has directly impacted the global fuel supply chain and shows no sign of resolution soon. This has caused significant volatility in crude oil and refined fuel prices, affecting domestic fuel costs and increasing living expenses and business costs. To address and prevent fuel shortages, the Energy Policy Administration Committee approved at its 2/2569 meeting on 7 April 2026 GMT+7 a 2-baht-per-liter reduction in refinery prices for rapid-circulation diesel fuel. This action is authorized under Section 3(1) of the Fuel Shortage Prevention Act of 1973 and Section 3(1) of Prime Ministerial Order 15/2562 dated 4 October 2019 on measures to prevent fuel shortages. Consequently, the Committee issued this announcement to reduce refinery prices for rapid-circulation diesel fuel as follows.
(1) Refinery price for rapid-circulation diesel fuel B0 is reduced by 2.00 baht per liter.
(2) Refinery price for regular rapid-circulation diesel fuel B7 is reduced by 2.00 baht per liter.
(3) Refinery price for rapid-circulation diesel fuel B20 is reduced by 2.00 baht per liter.
This price adjustment takes effect from the day following the announcement's publication in the Government Gazette.
Announced on 8 April 2026 GMT+7.
