Anutin Retorts to Seripisuts Policy Speech, Says Cabinet Has Only Good Kids, No Bad Kids

The Prime Minister evaded the media’s interview circle before retorting to Seripisut’s comment that the cabinet has only "good kids" and no "bad kids," then left with the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Interior in an electric car.

On 9 Apr 2026 GMT+7, at the parliament building, Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Anutin Charnvirakul departed after completing his morning duties. A minor commotion occurred when officials informed the media that the Prime Minister would give an interview in the hall area. However, when the time came, Anutin walked past the media crowd and headed straight to his car, briefly stating he had to hurry to a press conference at the Anti-Money Laundering Office (AMLO).

Nevertheless, journalists tried to question him about Pol. Gen. Seripisut Temiyavet, a party-list MP from the Seri Ruam Thai Party, who had criticized that this cabinet is made up only of "good kids" and questioned whether they could actually work effectively. Anutin responded good-naturedly, saying, "They are good kids, no bad kids."

Reporters then asked if his relationship with MP Thammanat Prompao from the Kla Party remained friendly after they greeted each other in parliament. Anutin did not answer this question but instead told the media "Car Pool," explaining that he invited Atthasit Sampanrat, the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Interior, to ride together in the electric car to continue their duties.
