Anutin avoided responding to issues about the policy statement lacking anti-corruption measures and constitutional amendments, then pointed to the screen where the Deputy Prime Minister was explaining policies in parliament. MPs and senators gathered to request autographs before a group photo with Bhumjaithai party members, with Big Krieng also joining the frame.
On 9 April 2026 at 21:30 GMT+7, Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul returned to the parliament building to attend the House of Representatives meeting after completing his duties at the Air Force Day reception for 2026. Upon arrival, reporters tried to question him about the government's morning policy statement, which did not mention anti-corruption measures or plans to amend the constitution, asking if he had any further explanations.
However, the Prime Minister just smiled without answering the questions and proceeded to pay respects before the portrait of His Majesty the King inside the parliament building.
Then, while passing by a television broadcasting live through the parliamentary channel, at the moment when Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Commerce Supachai Suthamphun was explaining the policy and operational directions of the Commerce Ministry, Anutin pointed to the TV screen and said briefly, “There, the explanation is happening.” After that, the Prime Minister went up to the meeting room to join the parliamentary session.
Later, at 22:00 GMT+7, reporters reported that as soon as Anutin reentered the parliamentary meeting room, Pol. Maj. Peer Suwanchavee, an MP for Nakhon Ratchasima from Bhumjaithai party, approached the Prime Minister to ask him to sign the cover of the policy statement book, which Anutin did.
Afterward, Attawit Suwanpakdee, a party-list MP from the United Thai Nation Party, also asked Anutin to sign the book cover. Then, various Bhumjaithai MPs lined up to request signatures from Anutin. Additionally, Senator Dr. Weerapant Suwannamai also came to request an autograph.
Then, Anutin greeted and conversed with several ministers, including Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sihasak Puangketkaew, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation Yossanan Wongsawat, and Minister of Natural Resources and Environment Suchat Chomklin, as well as MPs still present in the parliamentary meeting room.
Reporters also noted that Anutin participated in a group photo with Bhumjaithai MPs, which included Gen. Kriengkrai Srivarak, the First Deputy President of the Senate.
