Siripong, Deputy Minister of Transport, explained that Ice Rakchanok, his cousin, is not connected to him in business. He thanked those who linked them and gave an example comparing the situation to the case of Suriyas and Thanathorn.
On 10 Apr 2026 GMT+7, Mr. Siripong Angkasakulkit, Deputy Minister of Transport, addressed allegations raised by MP Rakchanok Srinok of the People’s Party (PPP). He explained that the company mentioned belongs to a cousin, not someone sharing the same mother as his father, so while they are relatives, there is no business connection whatsoever. Furthermore, in 2025 he held no executive authority, and he was not an MP in 2023. He expressed gratitude for being mentioned and noted that throughout the week he saw similar posts on social media. However, he reiterated there is no connection, likening it to the relationship between Mr. Suriyas Jungroongkit, Minister of Agriculture and Cooperatives, and Mr. Thanathorn Jungroongkit, Leader of the Progressive Movement.
