Cabinet Appoints Traisuli as Prime Ministers Secretary-General Lalida Reappointed Deputy Government Spokesperson

The Cabinet appointed Traisuli Traisornkul as Secretary-General to the Prime Minister after she confirmed her resignation as a Bhumjaithai MP, and reappointed Lalida Perwivatthana as Deputy Government Spokesperson for another term. Meanwhile, Ploytale Lakshmisaengchan and Phatdarasmi Thongsaluay are undergoing background checks.


On 11 April 2026,Ms. Traisuli Traisornkul, a party-list MP from Bhumjaithai Party, announced that she has officially submitted her resignation from the MP position.


When asked if she had been approached to serve as Secretary-General to the Prime Minister, Ms. Traisuli nodded in affirmation and said, “Yes.” She revealed that she has submitted her qualifications for review and is awaiting whether the Cabinet will consider the matter today.


Additionally, the Cabinet meeting is set to consider approving Ms. Lalida Perwivatthana to continue serving as Deputy Government Spokesperson at the Prime Minister's Office for another term.


As for Ms. Ploytale Lakshmisaengchan and Lt. Phatdarasmi Thongsaluay, who are expected to be nominated for two other Deputy Government Spokesperson positions at the Prime Minister's Office, their qualifications are currently under review.


Cabinet appoints Traisuli as Secretary-General to the Prime Minister; Lalida as Deputy Government Spokesperson.


Most recently, at 10:42 a.m., Ms. Ratchada Thanadirek, spokesperson for the Prime Minister's Office, announced that at today’s Cabinet meeting 1/2569, the Cabinet approved the appointment of two political officials as proposed by the Secretariat of the Prime Minister, as follows:


1. Ms. Traisuli Traisornkul to serve as Secretary-General to the Prime Minister.

2. Ms. Lalida Perwivatthana to serve as Deputy Government Spokesperson at the Prime Minister's Office.


These appointments take effect from 11 April 2026 onward.
