Anutin flew to inspect tourism during the Songkran festival in Chiang Rai province and joined in playing the flute with a Thai music ensemble at the airport.
On 12 Apr 2026 GMT+7, reporters reported that Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Anutin Charnvirakul, dressed in a floral shirt fitting the Songkran festival, arrived at Mae Fah Luang Airport. Near the information desk area, he watched a performance by the "Local Music Club of Wat Chetawan" (Phra Non) 1979 performing Thai music for passengers at Mae Fah Luang Airport. He then joined the group in playing the flute, entertaining the travelers, and afterward took commemorative photos with the musicians.
Meanwhile, Anutin's official Facebook page posted a flute-playing clip with the caption stating that by age, he nearly qualifies for the Senior Club (Sao group). This is called a true Senior Club harmony, as they play perfectly together.
