Warawut officially opened the "Yen Thua La Maha Songkran Suphanburi" festival in 2026, energetically celebrating Songkran with bamboo water guns alongside the people of Suphanburi.
On 13 April 2026 at 15:30, Mr. Warawut Silpa-archa, Minister of Industry, presided over the opening of the traditional Songkran festival "Yen Thua La Maha Songkran Suphanburi" 2026. The atmosphere was lively throughout the nearly 2 km parade route, which started from the King Naresuan Monument to the Suphanburi Municipality Office. People participated in pouring water over the Golden Luang Pho To statue and enjoyed the flower-decorated parade floats from government agencies of the province and all districts, beautifully adorned. Mr. Warawut carried a bamboo water gun and joined in the Songkran water splashing, offering blessings to the people of Suphanburi, especially the experienced generation including Mr. Banharn Silpa-archa, the 21st Prime Minister, who stayed at home. He also took photos warmly with the locals along the route. Later in the evening at 18:30, Mr. Warawut presided over the opening of the Songkran water play street at the main stage on Rak Tha Rahad Road beside the Tha Rahad Subdistrict Municipality, Mueang Suphanburi District, Suphanburi Province.
