On 15 April 2026, reporters reported that the Department of Consular Affairs, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, posted messages and images viaFacebookregarding the highest-level security alert issued by the Royal Thai Embassy in Tehran, Iran, stating that
1. Critical situation : The two-week ceasefire is not permanent peace. There is a risk of a new wave of attacks more severe than before in Iran.
2. Highest-risk areas: Hormozgan, Bushehr, Khuzestan provinces, and Bandar Abbas city. Urgent evacuation of three workers from Bandar Abbas is scheduled for 17 April 2026.
