Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul visited Sukhothai province on official duty with his wife, Ja Thananon, and took the opportunity to conduct a surprise inspection at a gas station, personally helping to pump diesel fuel for the public.
At 17:00 on 15 April 2026, Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Anutin Charnvirakul visited Sukhothai province on official duty, accompanied by his wife, Mrs. Thananon Charnvirakul. They arrived at Sukhothai Airport and took the chance to conduct an unannounced spot check on fuel stations in the area.
The Prime Minister then went to inspect a gas station near the Toyota intersection in Mueang district, Sukhothai, where a citizen was topping up 500 baht worth of diesel. The Prime Minister greeted and asked, “Just 500 baht? Let me top it up for you.” He then personally lifted the fuel nozzle to pump the diesel, before commenting, “500 baht only gets you a little.” The citizen replied that 500 baht was enough since they were about to return home.
Additionally, the Prime Minister surveyed inside the gas station and asked staff whether most customers bought gasoline or diesel. The staff replied that diesel was the best-selling fuel. The Prime Minister further inquired whether gasoline and E20 fuel were also available.
