
Anutin arrived at the Government House with a smile to resume work after Songkran, leading the government spokesperson team in paying homage to the Narasingha statue for auspiciousness before offering blessings and guidance to Ratchada, Lalida, and Ploytale.
At 10:05 a.m. on 16 Apr 2026 GMT+7, Mr. Anutin Charnvirakul, Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, went to perform his duties as usual at the Government House following the extended Songkran holiday. The Prime Minister smiled and waved to the media before entering the Thai Khu Fah Building. He then led Ms. Ratchada Thanadirek, the spokesperson for the Prime Minister’s Office, and Ms. Lalida Pertwiwatana, the deputy spokesperson for the Prime Minister’s Office, along with Ms. Ploytale Laksameesangchan, who is expected to be appointed as deputy spokesperson for the Prime Minister’s Office, to pay respects to the replica Narasingha statue on the second-floor balcony of the Thai Khu Fah Building for good fortune.
Afterwards, Ms. Ratchada, accompanied by Ms. Lalida and Ms. Ploytale, presented garlands to pay respects and seek blessings from the Prime Minister on the occasion of the Thai New Year, Songkran 2026, during which the Prime Minister offered blessings and work guidance along with direction for their duties.
