
Profile of Piboon Ratchakitprakarn, incoming party-list MP of the Bhumjaithai Party, younger brother of Pipat, returning to the House of Representatives for a third term now.
Mr. Piboon, also known as “Goto” He is currently 64 years old, born on 5 July 1961, and is the younger brother of Mr. Pipat Ratchakitprakarn, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Transport of the Bhumjaithai Party.
Education Bachelor of Science in Agriculture from Prince of Songkla University.
Before entering politics, he owned Satun Aquamarine Feed Supply Company. He was then elected mayor of Satun municipality and later elected as a member of the House of Representatives for the first time in 2019 and again in 2023, representing the Bhumjaithai Party.
In the latest election, he fielded his son, Mr. Peeraphat Ratchakitprakarn, as candidate for the Satun constituency, who was successfully elected, while he himself was placed at number 22 on the party-list.
In 2023, the National Anti-Corruption Commission (NACC) disclosed the asset and debt statement of Mr. Piboon and his spouse, Mrs. Tipparat Ratchakitprakarn, reporting total assets of 2,545,827,428 baht and debts of 62,455,256 baht. Most assets are investments—19 items totaling 2,085,604,331 baht, mainly held in Ratchakit Holding Company Limited; 62 land plots mostly in Mueang District, Satun, Bang Klam, and Hat Yai Districts in Songkhla Province; 14 buildings including detached houses, shophouses, and warehouses; bank deposits of 29,300,843 baht; loans to Ratchakit Corporation Company Limited totaling 14,000,000 baht; rights and concessions worth 10,335,400 baht, among others.
His spouse’s assets total 283,368,423 baht, mostly loans to Satun Aquamarine Culture Company Limited amounting to 83,414,998 baht; 33 land plots mainly in Mueang and La-ngu Districts, Satun Province, valued at 70,543,165 baht; 9 buildings including residences, shophouses, and condominiums valued at 52,406,528 baht; 15 investments worth 36,340,394 baht; bank deposits of 9,730,772 baht; rights and concessions totaling 4,860,000 baht; and other assets worth 23,572,565 baht.
Additionally, Mr. Piboon declared an annual income of 40,837,029 baht, mostly from dividends exceeding 16 million baht and shrimp farming income over 18 million baht.
