Announcement of Piti, Pongsakorn, Piboon, Sirivan as Party List MPs after Four Bhumjaithai Ministers Resigned

The Speaker of the House signed a declaration promoting “Piti, Pongsakorn, Piboon, Sirivan” to party list MPs of the Bhumjaithai Party following the resignation letters submitted by four ministers: Traisuli, Supamas, Warawut, and Eknat.


On 17 April 2026, the website The Royal Gazette published an announcement from the House of Representatives regarding the promotion of the next candidates on the party list of political parties to become members of the House of Representatives to fill vacant seats, stating that

According to the Election Commission’s announcement of the party list MP election results dated 4 March 2026, which declared that Ms. Traisuli Traisoranakul, listed tenth on the Bhumjaithai Party’s party list, was elected as a member of the House of Representatives,

now, Ms. Traisuli Traisoranakul has submitted a letter resigning from her position as a member of the House of Representatives, effective 11 April 2026, resulting in the termination of her membership under Article 101 (3) of the Constitution of the Kingdom of Thailand, B.E. 2560 (2017).

Therefore, by the authority of Article 105 (2) of the Constitution of the Kingdom of Thailand, B.E. 2560 (2017), it is announced that the next person on the Bhumjaithai Party list, Mr. Piti Pitutecha, ranked 21st, is promoted to member of the House of Representatives to fill the vacancy.

At the same time, there are three additional similar announcements from the House of Representatives in cases where Ms. Supamas Isarapakdee resigned from her position as a party list MP, effective 16 April 2026, resulting in the termination of her membership. It is thus announced that the person ranked 23rd on the Bhumjaithai Party list, Mr. Pongsakorn Arnanopon, is promoted to MP in her place.

Mr. Warawut Silpa-archa also resigned from his position as a party list MP, effective 16 April 2026, causing his membership to end. It is therefore announced that the person ranked 22nd on the Bhumjaithai Party list, Mr. Piboon Ratchakitprakarn, is promoted to MP in his stead.

Finally, Mr. Eknat Promphan submitted a resignation letter as a party list MP, effective 17 April 2026, resulting in the termination of his membership. Hence, it is announced that the person ranked 24th on the Bhumjaithai Party list, Ms. Sirivan Prasakornsat, is promoted to MP in his place.
