Ruamjai Thai Party Holds 69th Annual General Meeting in Korat, Plans to Push Lottery Prize Increase Policy

The Ruamjai Thai Party held its 69th annual general meeting in Korat. Boonruwee emphasized support for the government to promote policies more effectively and plans to push a policy increasing government lottery prizes, raising the first prize from 10 million baht to 100 million baht for the New Year draw.

On 19 Apr 2026 GMT+7, at the Saba Grand Seminar Room, Sabai Hotel, Mueang District, Nakhon Ratchasima Province. Ruamjai Thai Party held its 1/2026 annual general meeting, with Mr. Boonruwee Yomjinda, a party-list Member of the House of Representatives and leader of Ruamjai Thai Party, presiding over the meeting. The event was attended by the party's executive committee, key leaders, and 291 important party members, including Mr. Weerawat Yomjinda, party strategy chairman; Mr. Chatree Thaitat, deputy party leader; Mr. Boonlert Kongcharoen, advisor to the party leader; Associate Professor Dr. Phatsin Samrengram, advisor to the party leader; and Assistant Professor Dr. Ratchaphol Srikhaoros, advisor to the party leader. Officials from the Nakhon Ratchasima Provincial Election Commission Office also observed the meeting.

At the meeting, the 2025 annual general meeting minutes were approved, along with a review of the party's political activities over the past year, approval of the 2025 financial statements, election of new party executive committee members to fill vacant positions, and approval of relocating the party headquarters for better coordination—from the previous address at 44/557 Moo 10, Soi Nawamin 88, Nuanchan Subdistrict, Bueng Kum District, Bangkok, to the new location at 111/37 Ram Inthra 40 Road, Nuanchan Subdistrict, Bueng Kum District, Bangkok.

Mr. Boonruwee revealed after the meeting that Ruamjai Thai Party was established in 2023. In the most recent election, the party received over 400,000 party-list votes, a pure mandate from the people. Currently, the party has successfully implemented its policy of paying civil servants weekly salaries this month.

, The party’s next policy push will be to increase government lottery prizes. For example, the two-digit last number prize will increase from 2,000 baht to 5,000 baht; the three-digit last number prize from 4,000 baht to 10,000 baht; and the first prize from 6 million baht to 10 million baht. Furthermore, for each New Year’s draw, the prize will increase to 100 million baht. This policy is not intended to mislead the public but serves as a tool to reduce the problem of overpriced lottery tickets and underground lottery issues.

Regarding criticism that the government led by Anutin will not complete its four-year term, mathematically the Anutin government has overwhelming support. Even if small parties with 25 seats withdraw, it will not affect government stability. As the whip of a small coalition party, I believe all parties will stand firmly with the government, and no one will defect or become a ‘snakes in the grass.’ Being in opposition is difficult, while joining the coalition allows parties to push their policies into action. Therefore, I am confident the Anutin government will serve the full four-year term unless the public withdraws support. No matter how large the government majority is, it cannot survive without the people’s backing.
