The incident occurred on 18 Apr 2026 GMT+7 at the Thailand-Cambodia border near Ban Phak Kad, Pong Nam Ron district, Chanthaburi province, where a natural stream clearly marks the border between the two countries.
At that time, local units immediately raised a new flag to replace the missing one after the incident was discovered.
